  2. This is the free version of Drop Shadow.  Please give it to your friends!
  3. Drop Shadow is one of six Photoshop plug-in filters that make up The Black Box from Alien Skin Software.  The other filters are Emboss, Glass, Glow, Swirl, and HSB Noise.  To see examples of what these filters can do, run Drop Shadow from within Photoshop.

  6. The other file in this self-extracting archive, "Drop Shadow", is a Photoshop plug-in.  To install it, simply drag it into your Plug-ins folder within your Photoshop folder.  Next time you run Photoshop, there will be a new entry in the Filter menu.

  9. An easy way to learn about Drop Shadow is to try it on text.  Make some really
  10. big text (over 30 point) and then run Drop Shadow on it while it is selected.
